Essential responsibilities

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members, including junior engineers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver world class customer experiences.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Continuously improve the codebase by identifying areas for refactoring and optimization to enhance maintainability and scalability.

Essential responsibilities

• Build and scale paid marketing across all existing platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Google UAC, SEM, Affiliates, Display/Programmatic and TV
• Launch experiments and provide data-driven, analytically rigorous insights to test different channels and iterate on the digital marketing strategy• Implement, manage, and improve KPIs across all digital channels to meet quarterly acquisition targets while maintaining CAC
• Work closely with analytics and data science teams to monitor detailed campaign data against KPIs
• Manage the in-house creative team to rapidly and cost-effectively deliver highly effective static and video ads
• Forecast and plan financial outcomes for annual budget goals and execute against said goals• Partner with product, business development and customer support teams, dive deep into customer insights to improve conversions across the funnel
• Build and grow existing teams while fostering a data-driven, highly accountable and growth-focused culture
• Collaborate with organic content and media relations teams to leverage all channels

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of performance marketing experience within a highly competitive D2C environment• Experience managing paid digital channels including Facebook and Google and maximizing ROAS/LTV
• Experience running analytically-rigorous experiments and making data-driven decisions
• Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
• Experience developing and launching linear TV campaigns (a big plus!)
• Experience weathering a startup strongly preferred

Essential responsibilities

As UI/UX Designer you will…:

• Work closely with Senior Product Designer on Highrise
• Create delightful user-centered experiences by building and adhering to established design patterns
• Generate mockups, wireframes and polished visual designs
• Make your own schedule, effectively estimate tasks and deliver on time
• Establish, maintain and follow consistent internal design guidelines for UI/UX
• Survey other applications to understand what does and doesn’t work
• Conduct customer interviews when necessary to collect feedback and understand user requirements

Job Requirements

Within 3 months, you’ll…:

• Work with Highrise’s Product designer to deliver attractive user interfaces
• Support the Product designer to create mock-ups• Assist in the production of concept sketches, wireframes, and prototypes
• Independently gather and evaluate user requirements
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems

Within 6 months, you’ll…:

• Independently contribute to Highrise’s UI design style guide
• Take ownership of designing graphic user interface elements
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

• Work on the frontend React.js framework
• Develop clean, efficient code with accompanying unit tests
• Write integration tests to ensure code quality
• Help build and maintain a reusable components library
• Participate in code reviews and invite others to review your work
• Champion the importance of addressing technical debt
• Be a force-multiplier for the development team; solutions you provide are simple, scalable, and enable engineers to code more effectively

Job Requirements

• Experience in a startup environment; you’re a self-starter
• Experience with Javascript (React.js), HTML, CSS (SASS), CSS-in-JS (Styled-Components), and HTML
• Experience with Redux or other state management frameworks
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimizing the web experience
• Experience with cross-browser development and responsive web-design
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Asana)
